It was then concentrated, diluted with DCM (80 mL), washed with water (20 mL), dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated. The crude product was taken for next step without further purification. Yield: 75% (600 mg, dark brown liquid). 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): delta 8.91-8.89 (m, 2H), 8.03 (t, J = 11.6 Hz, 2H), 7.87-7.86 (m, 1H), 5.49 (d, J = 5.9 Hz, 1H), 4.97 (t, J = 6.2 Hz, 1H), 1.42 (d, J = 8.6 Hz, 3H).
