This is cyclised with methanesulphonic acid in toluene with azeotropic removal of water with a Dean-Stark trap to give the title compound as a white crystalline solid (9%), m.p 182-183 C. TLC (SiO2, EtOAc:hexanes 1:1, Rf=0.27). Mass spectrum CI (methane) m/z=387 [M+H]+.
